Home Depot "reduce," estimates reduced
NEW YORK, May 17 (newratings.com) - Analysts at UBS maintain their "reduce" rating on Home Depot (HD.NYS), while reducing their estimates for the company. The target price is set to $32. In a research note published this morning, the analysts mention that the investor sentiment is likely to shift to the company’s longer-term potential. This sentiment focus might prove temporary, if Home Depot’s fundamental weakness prolongs for a long time, the analysts say. The company’s operating margins are still close to the peak levels, UBS adds. The EPS estimates for 2008 and 2009 have been reduced from $2.60 to $2.50 and from $2.70 to $2.60, respectively. |
