Homebuilder gets exclusive status
Cardel Homes has scooped up another exclusive builder agreement.
For the family-owned Calgary builder, the northwest community of Evansview by Genstar Development Co. will mark the third time in a relatively short period Cardel has been named the only single-family home builder in a new neighbourhood.
The company had earlier been given exclusive status in Auburn Shores in the southeast community of Auburn Bay by Carma Developers -and in Quarry Park, also in the southeast, by Remington Development Corp.
"Cardel is planning to build 137 exclusive estate-style homes in Evansview over the next three years," says Mike Selinger, vice-president of sales and marketing for Cardel Homes.
The home builder is preparing a "master front-yard landscaping plan" that will provide homeowners with enhanced curb appeal -and to complement the Craftsman, Prairie and European Traditional architectural themes of the community, says Selinger.
Evansview has a "dramatic location" that provides views of Symons Valley and is close to recreational and retail amenities, says Paul Boskovich, development manager at Genstar.
Located within the larger community of Evanston, Evansview will cover more than nine hectares.
The first phase has been serviced and remaining roads will be built this spring, along with entry features and parks.
"We are very excited about the Evansview project and its ability to provide northwest home buyers with a legitimate semi-estate opportunity," says Boskovich.
