Home electronics: Logitech unveils new webcams
Logitech has announced the release of a new series of high definition webcams. According to the company, it flagship Logitech HD Pro Webcam C910 makes it easy for users to take part in HD video calling and recording. The product offers 720p video calling and full 1080p recording, while its Fluid Crystal technology and one-click Facebook uploading could appeal to customers. A combination of two microphones located either side of the device's lens ensure a high audio quality. Eric Kintz, vice-president and general manager of video business at Logitech, said the company hopes to bring video calling to the mainstream with the Logitech HD Pro Webcam C910. "With Logitech HD webcams, you have everything you need to share, to connect, to see the people that matter to you in breathtaking detail that far surpasses the quality of embedded webcams," Mr Kintz added. The device will be made available in the US and Europe this month at a price of $99.99 (£67.88).
