Greenville man charged with arson connected to 3 mobile homes
A 22-year-old man has been charged with arson in connection with three fires at mobile homes in Greenville on March 9 and March 22.
Harrison G. Goldsmith, 17 Celestrial Court, has been charged with three counts of arson and one count of burglary, according to warrants.
The first fire occurred at 12:10 a.m. March 9 at 257 Creek Side Drive, according to warrants. The second and third fires occurred at mobile homes March 22 at 124 Park Circle and 410 Solar Drive.
Warrants allege that accelerants were used in each blaze. Each fire occurred between midnight and 3 a.m.
The burglary occurred March 22 at the Park Circle address, warrants allege.
No possible motive was listed for the fires.
Goldsmith was being held on $90,000 bond at the Greenville County Detention Center, said Master Deputy Melissia McKinney of the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office.
