Bank Of America Home Loan Modification Numbers Improve—Are Homeowners Still Unhappy?
Bank of America’s numbers in the home loan modification program have seen a big jump from January to February, with the number of permanent home loan modifications going from 12,761 to 20,666.  However, many Bank of America homeowners are still unhappy with the program and are asking for more results.

The problem is a combination of things, when it comes to making home loans.  Homeowners are, seemingly, being denied modifications for little or no reason, while Bank of America struggles to handle over one million homeowners that are delinquent in their mortgage and potentially qualify for a home loan modification.

It seems that Bank of America, while making big leaps in the area of permanent modifications, is having a difficult time because their staff working on loan modifications simply can’t handle the number of homeowners seeking a modification.

Some reports from homeowners tell stories of customer service representatives that either don’t know about their particular modification or representatives who just don’t care about helping.  However, Bank of America homeowners, while walking a frustrating road, should keep in mind that the numbers for modifications are on the rise, so keep trying and don’t give up because there is success to be had.
