Audio fanatics may be licking their lips at the thought of the new M-CR502 CD DAB radio that will be launched by Marantz in March.
Not only does it offer DAB digital radio, an AM/FM tuner and a CD player but there is a USB port for connecting MP3 players and iPods can also be attached directly.
That gives a full range of music that can benefit from the two 50 watt stereo amplifiers included in the system and the sub-woofer which gives extra base.
External speakers can also be connected to give a surround sound experience.
The CD drive can read CDR/RW as well as MP3 and WMA encoded discs.
All of this comes in a compact case which is only 28cm x 11.1cm x 30.2cm in size.
Marantz is particularly proud of its offering and states the "M-CR502 will amaze you in both look and feel as well as in audio reproduction".
DAB devices now have a listening share of 11.4 per cent of all radio according to research from Radio Joint Audience Research last month.
