Home electronics: Altec Lansing unveils Moondance GLOW
 Home audio specialist Altec Lansing has announced the release of its new Moondance GLOW.This device effectively combines several items in one. First and foremost it's a set of high-quality speakers with integral iPod dock, ideal for bedroom tunes or studenty get-togethers. It's also an alarm clock, with a large clear display to the top right of the unit's front fascia. But that's not all because the Moondance GLOW also features a FM radio. As the name suggests, it also incorporates mood lighting which is 'splashed' across the wall and can be altered to suit the time of day, genre of music or type of occasion for which the unit is in use.
