Home electronics: Sony reveals slimmest TV
 Sony has revealed the world's thinnest LCD TV as part of an announcement of four "world firsts".The electronics giant has added four new models to its popular Bravia range, with the ZX1 pegged as the slimmest TV in history. Measuring just 9.9mm at its widest point, the slick set comes equipped with Bravia 1080 Wireless – meaning that consumers need not fear about unsightly power cables. The Z4500 is the first fully HD Motionflow 200Hz TV set and uses sophisticated algorithms to create a frame rate of 200 per second. Sony clearly has European buyers in mind with the other two offerings: the XEL-1 and the EX1. The EX1 is the first LCD Picture Frame TV and has been developed specifically for the European market. The TV is available with a 40, 46 or 52-inch screen.
