Mobile-home owners need help from council
I lost my husband in 2004. Along with losing him, I lost his Social Security check. I moved into this mobile-home park in 1988. At that time, the rent was $145 a month. It has since been raised to $396 a month, or will be in Jan. 2009. They will not allow the owners or managers to fix anything. When I moved in here, I was told anything inside of my home was mine to fix. Outside was the park's to fix. I was hoping that the City Council members will help us. You know these people are living good now. But someday they, too, will be old and in need of help. I hope not. Please City Council members, we need your help. Please don't let us down.
