Possible Gang Related Shooting Inside Mobile Home Park
Tonight around 6 p.m. a shooting took place inside the Casa Del Monte mobile home park. The shooting happened on 18th St. South after an 18-yr. old man was shot in the shoulder by three Hispanic men in a grey car. Witnesses said the car fled out of the development and westbound onto Forest Hill Blvd. A search for the car is taking place. The victim was taken to Wellington Regional Medical for further treatment. His wound was superficial and he is expected to recover. Preliminary investigation indicates the shooting may have been gang related.
