Interior Design Panel at Umbra | Upcoming Events
If you are in Toronto this Friday, September 26, 2008 do not miss the Interior Design Panel that is taking place from 6 pm to 7:30 pm at Umbra Concept Store. A panel discussion will explore how technology influences interior design with: * Andrew Gallici, senior team leader at figure3 * Anna Simone, founding partner of Cecconi Simone * Allen Chan, partner at Design Agency. Umbra cofounder and VP of Design Paul Rowan will moderate the panel. If you are interested to assist, RSVP by email at events@umbra.com. The first 25 people that show up at the event will receive the Cylindra Salt and Pepper shaker set a complimentary gift. I wish I could go. Designer’s Corner If you never visited Umbra Concept Store, it is a cool place. They are trying to democratize design by giving us the chances of talk to their own designers. The Designer’s Corner is upstairs. Their designers are really friendly and they share information about the design and manufacturing process. I met one when I visited the store last February. Designers are in store from Wednesday to Sunday, 11am to 7pm. The schedule of who will be there is posted in store.
