So Home Depot has scrapped its plans for a store on Hilton Head Island. Well, I'm not writing on behalf of the movie theater. I'm not writing on behalf of the traffic mess that we successfully dodged. I'm not writing on behalf of any trees that might have been senselessly murdered. No, I'm writing on behalf of the fitness facility Health Quest One. Actually, I'm writing on behalf of the gym's two owners, Beth and Lisa. Two young women opening a gym of that size and caliber was an aggressive, gutsy move on their part. And they didn't open if for the money; they opened it for their love of, and their belief in, the values of physical fitness. Lastly, I have a message for all the rats who jumped off what they thought was a sinking ship as soon as the Home Depot rumors began to fly.
