New Home Depot Rejuvenates Former Eyesore
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- For years the old Builder's Square building on Ming Avenue had been vacant. The building was used as a book warehouse, a storage facility and even a church. But the southwest Bakersfield eyesore is no more. Now a brand new Home Depot has moved in. The store has provided more than 100 jobs. Home Depot officials believe the new store will help revitalize the entire shopping center.
